We can all help to raise awareness about Female Genital Mutilation

Some helpful personal and organisational actions include:

Learn more about FGM. Check out FGM Aware  for key information relevant to Scotland. 

Watch the short film `Sara`s Story`, encourage others to watch it,. Arrange a screening at your work.

Make a donation to a charity working to end FGM, such as KWISA, working to empower African women in Scotland and beyond, or a chairty such as the Fistula Foundation which provides life changing treatment for women suffering obstretic fistulas. (Some forms of FGM can increase the risk of fistulas)
