The following training workshops are open to people living or working in North East Glasgow

Childhood sexual abuse.
An introductory course looking at definitions, extent of the problem ,‘signs’ of abuse, good practice in responding Delivered by Jan Macleod, Women’s Support Project

Sexual violence against women
An introductory course covering the spectrum of sexual violence; the law, prevalence, impacts on the survivor, how we can challenge sexual violence and where survivors can access support
Delivered by Paula Dunn, Glasgow and Clyde Rape Crisis Centre
Thursday 11th April, 1.30pm – 4.30pm Eastbank Training Centre, 22 Academy St, Glasgow G32 9AA

Understanding ‘coercive control’
An update on current thinking and legislation around domestic abuse and ‘coercive control’, including information on the new Domestic Abuse (Scotland) Act.
Delivered by Jan Macleod, Women’s Support Project
Tuesday 16th April, 1.30pm – 4.30pm Seminar Room, Easterhouse Health Centre, 9 Auchinlea Road, G34 9HQ
