Raising Awareness of FGM

This half-day training workshop is open to anyone working or volunteering in Glasgow, and will be of interest to a range of services, including Health, Education, Social Work, refugee and asylum support and youth services.

The workshop will include information on; ‘types’ of FGM, causes, possible impacts on the health of girls and women, legal protection, including proposed FGM Protection Orders, how to raise the issue, and services to help.

There is no charge for attending.
