Anne Dickson describes assertiveness as clear, honest and direct communication. This book aims to help women to “kick the need for approval”, and to be able to make their own decisions. Also looks at body language, saying no, expressing your feelings, how to handle
criticism, sexuality and assertiveness. Gives examples and “exercises . Could be used for individuals or groups.
