The Abused Deaf Child the Role of the Social Worker with Deaf People
Pub. National Deaf Children`s Society, 1990
A report on a conference held in 1990, produced by National Council of Social Workers with deaf people and The Keep Deaf Children Safe Project. Includes recommendations for work with abused deaf children. Looks at connections between disability and child abuse; communication with children based on research and experience. Very worthwhile.
