Multi-Agency Training
The Women’s Support Project regularly organises multi-agency training and events on a range of violence against women issues. These events aim to raise awareness of the cause, extent, impact of violence against women, and to increase worker’s confidence in identifying and responding to violence.

In-house Training & Events
We can provide half-day, one or two day courses on a range of issues: Child protection implications of new technologies. Understanding gender and the causes of gender based violence. Child sexual abuse. Grooming for sexual abuse: understanding danger signs. Domestic abuse and child protection. Working with women whose children have been sexually abused. Commercial sexual exploitation: understanding the harm. Implementing routine enquiry on violence against women

Training for Trainers
We offer ‘training for trainers’ courses designed for people with some training experience, for example, trainers from child protection, adult support and protection, and equality and diversity.
