Aims of organisation
The ROC Service has been operational since 2001 and has been offering young people under 16 years, who have run away, are at risk of running or have been forced out the home, a supportive and confidential service. We work with young people who live with their families as well as those young people who are in alternative care placements.
Addtional Information
In 2004 ROC Refuge became operational in terms of Section 38 of the Children (Scotland) Act 1995. This allows young people to seek refuge accommodation, without parental consent, for up to 7 days. As such we have set up a small residential refuge for up to three young people at any one time. The refuge is sited in a discreet location and individuals and services are requested to respectfully adhere to the confidential nature of the location. The Refuge is registered with the Care Commission as a Care Home for Children and Young People.Latest News
