| Library & Resources Our resource library plays a central role in our work by providing material to survivors, their supporters, community groups, professionals and researchers. The collection includes resources on issues related to violence against women and children such as: * Materials include manuals and training packs * research * conference reports * specialist journals * self-help books for survivors * awareness videos for children * material for working with children who have been abused * workbooks and material for supporting survivors * anthologies of women’s experiences. The loan period for books is 4 weeks/ 1 week for videos. If you would like to visit the office to look through the resources, or collect material, it is important to telephone us in advance. Since we are unable to provide a drop in library service we offer a postal service. Initially we can post resource lists with a book loan form, and the books you require will be posted out to you. If they are on loan you will be notified as soon as possible. A small charge is made towards the cost of posting books outside the Glasgow area and for photocopying of articles We are happy to discuss issues surrounding resource library development for those purchasing their own materials, and can provide details of our own suppliers if required.
