
National Training Resources
This online training resource supports the work of the Scottish Government in tackling violence against women and ensuring that staff in relevant agencies are trained to respond effectively. It contains information on violence against women training in Scotland; gives detail of training and resources available; encourages information sharing and joint working; and promotes good practice.
The Scottish Government takes violence against women very seriously. Its response includes:
- National Group on Violence Against Women
- ‘Safer Lives: Changed Lives – a shared approach to tackling violence against women in Scotland’, 2009
- Supporting staff training in Health and Criminal Justice
